Passion may be the best word to describe the photography of Kelly Gorham. Inspired by the pages of magazines like the National Geographic and encouraged by his parents who kept him in film and flashcubes, Kelly went on to earn a degree in photography from the School of Film and Photography at Montana State University in 1995. He began his professional career with humility by begging the local newspaper editor for any assignment they would be willing to give. This led to several internships and an interest in photojournalism. He has since earned his chops as a staff and freelance photographer for a variety of publications.

Kelly's award-winning photographs attract such notable clients as AAA, Bentley Motors, and Harley Davidson. His images have been featured in such publications as the New York Times, Sports Illustrated, Forbes Life, National Geographic Explorer, Washington Post and USA Today. In late 2009 Kelly launched his documentary project, "The Stones Have Memories" about the history of the Cold War in Berlin. The project has exhibited in New York, Berlin and Montana and has received attention in numerous newspapers and television reports.

Back at his alma mater, Kelly is currently the Senior News Photographer for Montana State University where he helps to promote the research and achievements of MSU's faculty and students to worldwide media. He also accepts a variety of assignments from international clientele and continues work on personal documentary and fine art projects.
